Vietnam Veterans of Westmoreland County Memorial : The memorial is located on the Upper Lake near Pavilion #2.It contains five areas designated to memorialize or honor family members and loved ones. Reflection Island: Located on the Upper Lake, this memorial area has been designated for quiet reflection and meditation.Call (724) 832-7735 for hours and more information. Food, drinks, and live bait are also available to park visitors year-round. The Boathouse : Twin Lakes Boathouse, which sits on the shore of the Lower Lake, offers pedal boats, canoes and rowboats are available for hourly rental.Private boats, canoes, and kayaks are not permitted on the lower and upper lakes at Twin Lakes. A figure-eight walkway circles both lakes for a total of 2.5 miles. Fall and winter stockings make both lakes a haven for ice fishing enthusiasts. Lower & Upper Lakes : The PA Fish and Boat Commission stocks both lakes with hardy game fish.The building is heated and air-conditioned and will accommodate groups of up to 100 persons.
